What was your inspiration behind this monochromatic tablescape?

Monochromatic tablescapes are on trend! Green can create a rich vibe, especially when paired with other elements like glass and gold. When working with a wedding budget, floral arrangements can be a significant expense. Using greenery instead of flowers not only works with the theme but is also a more cost-effective option without compromising the design. For my green-themed table, I painted the candlesticks with Rust-Oleum’s 2x Paint in Gloss Meadow Green and used 2x Paint in Hunter Green for the frames. Using various shades of the chosen color adds interest and creates a more upscale space.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

For this project, I took something old—and made it new and blue! Thrifted chairs are often a more affordable alternative to rentals, and mismatched styles? No problem! I painted the chairs using our Low Odor Paint in Gloss Blueberry to make them uniform in color, but the different chair styles add character and interest. I am a big fan of color, so i added pops of color by painting the candlesticks with 2x paint in Gloss Berry Pink and used our Universal Metallic Paint Prime in One in Pure Gold to add a little glamour.

How did you create the customized bridal gifts?

I found the wooden drink caddy and immediately saw the potential! With a little creativity, it became the perfect personalized gift for bridesmaids. I started by painting the caddy using Rust-Oleum Low Odor Spray Paint, which offers excellent coverage, dries quickly, and has 40% less odor than traditional spray paints. To make each gift feel truly special, I used a Testors Paint Pen in white to handwrite each bridesmaid’s name on the caddy. Personal touches like this go a long way! Finally, I filled each one with thoughtful, fun items tailored to my crew—mini champagne bottles, cozy slippers, luxe lotion, and fresh flowers. It’s a gift they can enjoy during the wedding and use long after the celebration ends.
